LFH Sends Gifts to Our Partner School
Millfield Primary School in Leeds, England.
Jared Fogle, also known as the Subway guy
, visited LFH on Tuesday, August 24th. He shared his story and encouraged students to eat healthier and exercise more. Augusta Mayor, Deke Copenhaver, also visited LFH. Mayor Copenhaver welcomed Jared to Augusta and declared September Nutrition and Fitness Awareness Month. The students all had a chance to sign the PEP Pledge to play more, eat right, and push away video games and computers.

I-Parent
is no longer available. This year teachers will use the new and very user friendly Global Scholar program. Parents will have web access to this program on September 7th. We are sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

From the Principal
Welcome to Lake Forest Hills Elementary School! My name is Sonya Bailey, the Principal of LFH. We have such an exemplary school with students that come each day excited about learning. Our staff works tirelessly to keep up with the best instructional practices and love to keep challenging their students. We currently are pursuing the Primary Years Programme, which is an International Baccalaureate World School. We are in the fundraising stages and will turn in our first application in April 2010. We will keep you updated.
