Biography

I am so happy to have been chosen as the principal at Lake Forest Hills Elementary. I am happily married and a mother of 3 beautiful children. I have been a teacher and administrator for a total of 17 years in Richmond County Schools. My favorite quote is "A happy heart makes the face cheerful". My favorite cards to receive in the mail are graduation announcements from former students!!

Welcome to Lake Forest Hills Elementary School! My name is Sonya Bailey, the Principal of LFH. We have such an exemplary school with students that come each day excited about learning. Our staff works tirelessly to keep up with the best instructional practices and love to keep challenging their students. We currently are pursuing the Primary Years Programme, which is an International Baccalaureate World School. We are in the fundraising stages and will turn in our first application in Jan. 2010. We will keep you updated.
